Returns, Refunds and Warranty Claims

Compressed Air Alliance offers a 12 month warranty on all products. We will refund, repair or replace faulty items. Refer to our Terms and Conditions of Sale for more information.

Returning an item

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We do not offer refunds, exchanges or credits if:

  • you change your mind once the order has been accepted, or
  • you order the wrong product, or
  • the product was custom made, or
  • the product is damaged, or
  • the product is altered, modified, or repaired, or
  • the product was used / installed or there had been an attempt to use / install the product.

If the product is faulty and under warranty, you may be eligible for a warranty claim.

To return an item

  • contact us via email within ten (10) days of receipt of the item. Request to return the product.
  • In the email, please provide:
    • the reason for returning the item
    • the original invoice number
    • proof of payment
    • whether you would like a refund, replacement product or credit
  • Once you have approval from Compressed Air Alliance to return the item, send your items to:

Shipping costs: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What happens after I’ve shipped the product?

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request for a refund, replacement or credit.

Refunds

If your refund request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Note: it can take up to 4 weeks for the refund to appear in your account.

Restocking fee: Compressed Air Alliance reserves the right to charge you a restocking fee of up to twenty percent (20%) of the original invoice price. This will be deducted from the refund.

Typical reasons for rejecting a refund request include: the product is damaged, altered, modified, used or a custom made product (eg an inline flow meter).

Exchanges / Replacements

If your request for an exchange or replacement product is approved, we will ship the product to you. Depending on the reason for the exchange / replacement, you may be required to pay for shipping costs and a restocking fee.

Credits

If you have a credit facility with Compressed Air Alliance, you may request a credit instead of a refund. We will apply the credit to your next purchase.

Warranty Claims

Compressed Air Alliance offers a 12 month warranty on all products. If your product fails within 12 month of receiving the item, please contact Compressed Air Alliance via email.

You may be required to return the faulty item to Compressed Air Alliance. We will inspect the product and if its found to be covered by the warranty we will offer to (i) repair or replace the product (or the defective part) or (ii) credit or refund the price of the product provided that the faulty item is returned to us.

Please note, Compressed Air Alliance does not warrant products:

  • against chemical or stress corrosion; or
  • against any failure other than from defects in materials or workmanship; or
  • from any defective third party products contained in, incorporated into, attached to or packaged together with the Products; or
  • any defect when the product is altered, modified, or repaired without our prior written approval; or
  • any defect caused by you failing to follow our oral or written instructions as to storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of products, or
  • if you make any further use of such products after giving notice of a warranty claim.
